A place to think and a place to feel. My name is Steph I obviously love reading and enjoy getting lost in a good book with a nice cup of tea. I love photography and generally being creative with little projects.

I live in Scotland with my two children, a man child I married and more books than I’ll ever have clothes or shoes. I am a primary school teacher. I adore crochet and candles and love supporting small businesses.

I Started my blogging journey at joysofamum.com so I have some experience in the blogging world. This feels different. Reading has always been a large part of who I am but it’s just me over here I don’t have the kids and funny anecdotes to fall back on.

Essentially I just want a really big reading log of all my favourite reads, I’ll be sharing some of my favourite bookish items too, including some of my favourite teas! Oh yes I like to pair certain blends with each book I read but more about that later.

I have a very wide taste in books. I started reading classics as a child and that love never left. I enjoy fiction, fantasy, action, romanc, plays, mystery pretty much anything I can get my hands on. Even as a dyslexic I’d learned to read before I started school and spent hours and hours pouring over stories growing up!
